Guardianship Nomination for Minor Children
If you have minor children, you need a Will or a Guardianship Nomination. A guardian of a minor is usually appointed when there is an incapacity, disability or death of the legal parent. A guardianship nomination dictates who is to care for your children. If you do not appoint a guardian in writing and become incapacitated or deceased, the State of California may select a guardian for your minor children.
